WHAT IS THE DATA STORYTELLING WORKBOOK?
The first of its kind, the Data Storytelling Workbook brings together inspiring work from across social sciences, data journalism, graphic design, computer science and geography, taking readers on a journey through the ins and outs of storytelling with data. We would love for you to come along on the adventure!
The workbook is curated by Dr. Anna Feigenbaum with the Bournemouth University Civic Media Hub, research and design assistant Aria Alamahodaei, and Minute Works graphic design studio.. Concept/Section
The workbook is divided into chapters that take the reader on a journey through the data storytelling process. Each chapter is made up of short, blog post style write-ups on key concepts, techniques or challenges in data storytelling. We are asking experts in key areas to contribute to these sections. Posts will be worked on with the editor to fit the overall tone of the book. Featured ‘posts’ will appear in the print copy of the workbook, with additional posts available online.
